These Terms and Conditions (“the Terms and Conditions”) govern your (“the User”) use of the Backyard Hiker (“Provider”) website located at the domain name www.abackyardhiker.com (“the Website”). By accessing and using the Website, the User agrees to be bound by the Terms and Conditions set out in this legal notice. The User may not access, display, use, download, and/or otherwise copy or distribute Content obtained on the website for marketing and other purposes without the consent of the Provider.

Shipping
The user agrees to the shipping and returns policy as laid as follows:

Orders will be prepared for delivery once payment has cleared. Please note that all orders are handmade especially for you. Delivery to main towns and city centers will take 4 – 3 working days. Outlying areas 4 – 6 working days. We deliver door to door via our chosen courier service.

We offer worldwide shipping, and this is calculated at checkout. The client is responsible for all import duties and custom tax in their respective country. International order delivery will take between 5 and 14 working days.

Shipping cost
A Flat rate fee or R 100 is charged for door-to-door delivery anywhere in South Africa. Worldwide shipping costs will be calculated at checkout.

Tracking
All parcels are dispatched with a tracking number. Once your parcel is dispatched a tracking number will be emailed to you.

Refund & Return Policy
Since all the products are handcrafted and personalized to your likings, we can’t accept any returns. All orders are non-refundable.

E-Commerce & Privacy
The Website (www.abackyardhiker.com) sells courses, bracelets and dog collars. The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.

The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances.

The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (Personal Computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.

From time to time, this website may also include links to other websites. These links are provided for your convenience to provide further information. They do not signify that we endorse the website(s). We have no responsibility for the content of the linked website(s).

The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address.

Online Payment
All online credit card payments are processed by the PayFast’s Online Payment Gateway. Card Holders may go to www.payfast.co.za to view PayFast’s security policy.

At Checkout, you will be directed away from our website ot PayFast’s scure platform where you can make payment using any of the following options: Instant EFT, Credit or Cheque Cards, Debit Cards, Masterpass or Bitcoin.

Colours
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the Site. The actual colours you see will depend on your computer monitor, and we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will be accurate.
