FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When are the coaching sessions planned?

Keeping the Lowveld Climate into account, our walking coaching sessions are planned in the morning or late afternoon. As soon as your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a link via e-mail so you can book your sessions.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life can get in between. If you’d like to reschedule, please do so at least 48h in advance. As for cancellations, the coaching fee is unfortunately non-refundable.

How does the payment work?

We require 100% payment at the time of booking your coaching spot. Payment can be arranged via EFT.

Are travel expense included?

Our walking sessions can take place in my Backyard in White River. If you however feel more comfortable in your own Backyard, then we can go for a walk there. Depending on where your Backyard is, travel expenses will be added.

What if we don’t “connect”?

That is of course always possible. If we find, after our first coaching session, that our personalities don’t connect, I offer you a full refund of the remaining sessions. 

Do you guarantee results from your coaching sessions?

“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink.”

But, if you follow your goals and action steps, open yourself fully to your coaching and dedicate enough time and effort, you will get great results from your walking coaching. I use many effective ways to coach you towards that. Every session, you will learn a different technique and I will give you extra work to incorporate the new learning into your life.

Do you guarantee the privacy of my information?

Absolutely! I guarantee never to use your details or anything you say without getting your permission first. At the end of the program, I’ll ask you to write some feedback and you can choose whether you want this information to stay confidential or not.

What is the difference between coaching and counselling?

Coaching helps you to achieve your goals. You are ready to work hard and to receive guidance and direction on how to achieve your goals and dreams. You’ll be inspired to take the next steps into planning, changing and updating your lifestyle.

Are you certified?

Yes, I’ve got a Life Coach certification and went for an intensive training to get my Walking Coaching certification in The Netherlands.

What’s special about your way of coaching?

The beauty of my coaching in its simplicity, we literally step away from everything. By allowing yourself to “switch-off” in a space which naturally calms your mind, rewilds your senses and helps you to walk alongside your struggles and seeing them for what they are. And I’ll be your guide along the way.

How long does the coaching take?

Count for about 60 minutes per session.

Do I need to be fit or bring something special?

No to each of the above questions. It is YOUR journey and YOUR path we are going to create. Therefore, it is YOUR pace we are going to follow. I would suggest wearing comfortable shoes and leave your high heels at home.
